Happy New Year!
Winter weather is around the corner and we're looking forward to presenting our upcoming lessons focused on Arctic animals and their unique lifestyles! While Texas winters are typically milder, the colder temps offer a perfect backdrop to explore the adaptations of life in our country's coldest forest regions and the fascinating world of the Arctic.
Throughout this theme, we’ll journey to the ends of the Earth to discover the diverse animals that call these icy regions home. From foxes to polar bears and penguins to narwhals, we'll dive into the habitats, behaviors, and survival strategies of these incredible creatures. We're excited to spark curiosity and wonder as we explore this chilly but captivating world together!
Each week will contain a variety of activities targeting all major developmental domains. Of course, activities and group discussions will be modified for each age group.
We’ll be spending more time indoors as we wait for the days to warm up before venturing outside. Please check out our new schedule and take note that there will be no outdoor activities when the wind chill falls below 40 degrees. We also ask that you ensure your child is prepared with winter weather clothing and accessories. We feel it's imperative for kiddos to continue getting sunshine, fresh air and opportunities to exercise their bodies even in the winter and as such will make a daily effort to be outside when able and ensure everyone is bundled up for the cold.
