We proudly serve children ages  18 months and older

from 8am - 6pm, Monday through Friday, year-round.

Tuition includes a hot lunch made in-house, morning and afternoon snacks.

Schedule and Activities

Our daily routine is structured around meal times and animal care needs with opportunities for teacher and child-led learning.

While our emphasis is on the social and the physical, we fill our days with opportunities for cognitive, fine motor and language development as well.

Tuition and Fees

We strive to make quality care accessible. We do not make families sign contracts nor do we charge annual registration fees or supply fees. Our transparent costs and fees give parents a clear picture of what to expect.

Enrollment Process

Though we are regularly on a waitlist for all age groups, the following steps outline our general enrollment process in the event a space is offered to your family.

Enrollment Process

Admission to The Homegrown School's Preschool Program is open to all children aged 18 months to 6 years, regardless of race, gender, color, religion, origin or orientation.

Though we are regularly on a waitlist for all age groups, the following steps outline our general enrollment process in the event a space is offered to your family.

"I'm interested in enrolling or learning more... what do I do next?"

STEP 1:

Add your child to the wait list.

We recommend joining our wait list to express your interest in enrolling your child.

Signing up will secure your family’s place in line while you wait to hear back from us.

You will be contacted as soon as a suitable opening becomes available.

Because we operate on a small scale with minimal student turnover, we cannot guarantee openings—but we do our best to reach out to families as spaces arise.

Please note:

We have automated messages turned on to confirm your addition to the list and to send reminders that your family is on the list every 3 months. If you are interested in keeping your place in line, confirm by clicking the button in your email reminder. If you are no longer interested or needing care, you can remove yourself from the list. Families who do not confirm their place after 12 months will be removed.

STEP 2:

Interview and Tour

When we foresee an opening, we reach out to families on the waitlist that fit the age and schedule available and will call to set up a phone interview. This allows us to discuss your child’s needs, share details about our program, and, when appropriate, schedule a campus tour.

We strongly encourage families to visit any child care center before enrolling; however, due to our limited tour availability we schedule visits only for families who are eligible for an upcoming space, in the order they joined the waitlist. We understand it can feel counterintuitive to join a waitlist before touring, but we invite you to read our “Hello!” and “Waitlist” pages for more insight into our administrative process and why we limit daily tours.

Your child must accompany you on the tour so they can meet our team, explore the environment, and experience the atmosphere firsthand. Please note: we do not schedule multiple tours for the same family, so we encourage all decision-makers to attend. “Trial days” are not offered.

In some cases, openings may be filled before all scheduled tours are completed.

STEP 3:

Submit an Admissions Application

Families who have toured and wish to move forward have 48 hours to confirm their intent to enroll. To reserve your child’s space, please submit:

  • A completed Admissions Application, and

  • The $200 enrollment fee (non-refundable).

Spaces may be held for up to 30 days. After the 48-hour window, the opening will be offered to other families on a first-come, first-served basis, depending on who completes the enrollment steps first.

STEP 4:

Complete your enrollment

Upon acceptance, your family will be added to our system, and you’ll receive an email invitation to set up your Parent Profile.

To finalize enrollment, please ensure all required documents are submitted, including:

  • Current immunization records

  • Child health statement

  • Infant care plan (if applicable)

  • Completed parent profiles

Your first month’s invoice will be sent via our digital reporting platform.

Before your child’s first day, please take time to review our Parent Handbook and label all personal belongings.

We can’t wait to welcome your family into our Homegrown community!
